Cleveland is the capital of advanced health care. For years, Russell has been working with hospitals, clinics, and research labs to tell the stories of saving lives, advancing medicine and providing care.

From shooting in live surgical settings to real patient-provider interactions to working research labs, Russell has developed a low-impact technique that allows him to capture the reality of modern health care in a compelling way, without disrupting the important work of care delivery. With great awareness that medical providers and hospital staff work busy schedules and have limited timeframes; patients are fitting medical appointments into busy lives; and clinics, surgical suites and labs face real space constraints, Russell knows how to work quickly and efficiently in medical settings.

He’s collaborated with Cleveland Clinic, Akron Children’s Hospital, Case Western Reserve University and more to capture the faces of medical advancement and the spaces of critical care.
